Wool Expo and major supporter Inland Technology have teamed together to put on the photography competition, the results of which will go on public display at the expo.
Expo-goers will judge the competition and there is also a prize for the winning judge.
“We wanted the community to decide who wins,” Wool Expo’s sponsorship and publicity co-ordinator Andra Müller said.
“There are no better people to judge what depicts life in New England than those who live here.”
This year, Wool Expo organisers plan to add a swag of new activities to broaden its appeal.
“We want to bring in a wider cross-section of people,” Ms Müller said.
