I finally bit the bullet and purchased this kit. I have a Nikon D90, and I wanted the SB-600 flash unit, and I still needed a camera bag and tripod, so this kit was perfect. After pricing all of these items out individually you’re basically getting the batteries, rapid charger, and cleaning kit for free, so it wasn’t a bad deal. The tripod wasn’t as exactly pictured here. This one shows silver legs and the one I got was all black (still metal though). Not a high-end tripod by any means but will do the job. Bag is perfect in size for the gadgets I have at this point (the camera, 2 lenses, external flash, and some small stuff). Only minor con with the bag is that the straps aren’t removable. Overall I’m satisfied.
