These affordable models are sure to be a hit with users who want high image quality regardless of their budget. The 12-megapixel FE cameras boast up to 5x super wide optical zoom for great panorama shots or close-ups of distant subjects. The three top models look especially striking thanks to a double layered crystal shell finish. In addition, they all offer a practical AF tracking feature which ensures that even moving subjects are in focus at all times. Also on board are advanced Face Detection technology and the i-Auto mode, which automatically identifies five commonly-encountered types of scenes and adjusts settings accordingly. Two of the FEs even offer innovative Magic Filters for a new level of creativity. I have used Olympus cameras in the past without any complaints. This camera holds up to our expectations. The picture quality is amazing. The scene modes perform well, but we don't use them that often, we prefer to point and shoot with the auto-mode. This camera is replacing a 3MP nikon coolpix, that finally wore out. Just remember when you buy this camera, it is a pocket sized digital camera for around $100. Don't expect to be taking photos for National Geographic!! It is a great little camera :) This is a very nice camera-especially for under $90. One thing I failed to check before purchasing is the various scene modes.
